Bee-utiful Benefits of Royal Honey
Are you buzzing with curiosity about royal jelly? This special substance isn't just any honey – it's the food fit for a queen bee. And if it's good enough for royalty, it must have some exceptional health benefits.
Whether consumed or applied topically, royal jelly has been proven to have a range of natural healing properties.
Here are 10 reasons why you should consider adding some sweetness to your life with royal jelly:
1. Boosts Immunity:
Royal jelly contains all 17 amino acids including the eight essential amino acids humans cannot produce on our own. It is packed with vitamins A, C, D, E, and B complex, multiple minerals like copper and zinc, and hormonal-like substances. It's high in pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), the anti-stress vitamin, and has been shown in some studies to increase endurance while under stress. With high levels of antioxidants and enzymes, it can strengthen your immune system and protect your body from free radicals and harmful bacteria reducing your risk of infections and illnesses and also making it an anti-cancer superfood.
Study groups report improvement in seasonal allergies, asthma, and gut health when taken routinely.
2. Soothes Sore Throats:
If you're struggling with a sore throat, royal jelly may be able to provide some natural relief. It has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that can help to reduce swelling and fight off infection.
3. Promotes Antiaging and Wound Healing:
If you have a cut, scrape, or burn, royal jelly may be able to help heal it faster. Studies have shown that royal honey can improve cell growth and produce more collagen, calling it the fountain of youth, making it excellent for skincare, and leading to quicker wound closure and less scarring.

8. Weightloss:
Royal jelly can help manage a healthy weight as it improves glucose levels in the blood, as well as ulcerations related to diabetes.
9. Male Fertility:

10. Women's Health:
Regular consumption of
Royal jelly eases premenstrual symptoms such as irritability, weight fluctuations, and water retention.
In menopause, royal jelly protects against osteoporosis by decreasing bone resorption. As well as alleviates menopausal symptoms.
Dosage for consumption:
You can eat royal jelly raw, as a honey spread, or use it in your tea or smoothie. You can also take it orally as a capsule.
The flavor of royal jelly is described as astringent, slightly bitter, with an aftertaste.

***Caution***
Although this superfood has some amazing benefits it is not for everyone. DO NOT consume if:
• Children are under the age of one.
• You are allergic to bees or bee products.
• You are allergic to conifer and poplar trees.
• You have estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer because it can stimulate the growth of cancer cells.
• You take blood thinners such as warfarin.
• You are taking cholesterol-lowering medications.
• You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
So why is royal honey so special? For starters, it's only fed to the queen bee and not to her worker bees. That's because royal honey is made from a special secretion. The worker bees mix honey and bee pollen with enzymes in the glands of their throats to produce what is called royal jelly. The queen bee is then solely fed royal jelly throughout her entire life, which is part of the reason why she lives so much longer than her worker bee counterparts.
Royal jelly is also unique in its composition. It is a thick, milky substance high in protein, vitamins, and minerals, which all contribute to its health benefits. Plus, it contains a range of nutrients that are harder to find in other foods, such as gamma globulin, which helps to boost the immune system.
So next time you're sweet-talking yourself into some honey, consider trying out royal jelly for some bee-autiful benefits. Who knows – maybe you'll feel like the queen bee of your hive with some natural healing and health.
