Rooted in Tradition.
Guided by Experience.
Inspired by Healing.
My journey into herbal wellness didn’t begin as a business—it began as a necessity.
After being diagnosed with lupus, I was faced with the reality of navigating a lifelong condition. With the support of medical professionals and the advancements of modern medicine, I was given the care that quite literally helped keep me here. That foundation mattered—and it still does. Over time, I began exploring how I could further support my body through natural, holistic practices. What started as a search for balance turned into a life-changing path.
For the past six years, I’ve been committed to supporting my wellness through a thoughtful combination of lifestyle changes, herbal practices, and informed self-care—always with respect for both traditional knowledge and modern medicine. I believe strongly that true wellness doesn’t have to be one or the other. When used responsibly, there is space for both.
A Legacy of Plant Wisdom
My passion for herbalism is deeply rooted in my heritage.
I was raised on the teachings passed down from the women before me—my Choctaw great-grandmother, taught me the wisdom of the plants from the land, not only their healing properties but also a deep respect for nature and the belief that true healing happens when we live in harmony with it; and my German-Irish Mennonite grandmother, who grew up during the Great Depression in the rural farmlands of Vona, Colorado. From her, I learned resilience, resourcefulness, and the importance of using what you have to care for those you love.
Their knowledge wasn’t written in books—it was lived, practiced, and shared. That legacy continues to guide everything I do.
Today, I carry that tradition forward by helping preserve the ways our ancestors once relied on every day. My mission is to help bring that knowledge back into modern life in a way that feels accessible, practical, and grounded.
A Life Built on Love & Purpose
At the heart of everything I do is my family.
I’m a wife to my best friend and high school sweetheart, a role that has shaped my life in the most meaningful ways. I’m also a mother to our miracle daughter, now a preteen, who continues to inspire me to live intentionally and lead by example. And if there’s one more thing that defines me—it’s my love for animals, who have always been a part of my home and my heart.
Originally a Colorado native, my family and I have called Kansas home for the past 10 years. This is where Hooser Health was built, grown, and shared with others.
A Balanced Approach to Wellness
Hooser Health was created with one goal in mind: to offer thoughtful, plant-based products that support everyday wellness while honoring both tradition and safety.
I believe in herbalism that is responsible, informed, and respectful. Natural remedies can be powerful—but they are not a replacement for professional medical care. If any holistic healer encourages you to avoid your doctor entirely, that’s not a philosophy I stand behind.
Instead, I believe in a balanced approach—one that allows space for modern medicine, herbal traditions, and individual choice. When used wisely, these paths can work together to support overall well-being.
Why I Do This
This work is personal.
It’s about honoring where I come from, supporting my family, and helping others explore natural wellness in a way that feels safe, empowering, and grounded in real-life experience.
Whether you’re just beginning your journey or looking to deepen your connection to plant-based living, I’m honored to be a small part of your path.
Happy Healing
